We Draw the Line

Nov 72019

Greta Thunberg said it best, “Right here, right now is where we draw the line.” East 15 Acting students present two nights of Climate Change Theatre Action at our Southend campus. Alongside this event, we are making resources available to students about how to live more eco-friendly lives inside and out of university. These resources will also include templates for writing to and urging companies and organizations to look at their environmental impacts, and bringing a sharper eye back to our own university to see what changes we can make.

Plays being presented include:

Chantal Bilodeau – IT STARTS WITH ME
Sunny Drake – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF ANY MEANING
Yolanda Bonnell – DRIP
Marcus Youssef – DUST
Nathan Yungerberg – MISS VIOLA EVIE ANDERSON’S DINING HALL FOR BEES
Hanna Cormick – CANARY
Philip Braithwhite – ICE FLOW
Lana Nasser – THE BUTTERFLY THAT PERSISTED
Shy Richardson and Karina Yager – TRÉS MARIAS – CATEGORIES
David Finnigan – THERE ARE A LOT OF STORIES YOU CAN TELL ABOUT HUMANITY
Vitor Jatobá – FAILED EXPERIMENT

If you are not a student and would like to come, please email [email protected] to reserve a seat! Tickets are free, and we will be collecting donations for various climate change organizations.
