This November, students at UCC are involved in a global festival of short theatrical plays (CCTA 2023) tackling the climate crisis in collaboration with the Arts & Climate Initiative and the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts. The Cork City event titled “We Will Listen / Éistfimid” presents five short plays performed on the evening of November 2, 2023. The performances are a collaboration between departments of the Theatre Arts at University College Cork – combining humor, poetic verse, and song, utilizing performance to bring communities together to act on climate change. A short talkback will follow the production. Admission is free.
