Vital Matters, a new laboratory for facilitating change at the intersections of performance, somatic practice, climate and social justice, Single Carrot Theatre, and Submersive Productions are partnering to produce ‘Winter Seeds: Growing Community around Climate and Change.’

The live event will showcase readings of six CCTA plays:

Jessica Huang – LIFEDAY

The evening will feature live music from local artists, puppetry, and a conversation hosted by youth climate activist Nadia Nazar (founder of Zero Hour), and the youth-led group Baltimore Beyond Plastic. A holiday market in the lobby will feature crafts by local artists and books from The Ivy Bookshop. The event will be ASL interpreted and ADA accessible, and will also be available online from December 18-31.

“This event is supported in part by the Maryland State Arts Council.”
