The Arts Umbrella Theatre, Music, & Film department presents our annual Winter Shorts Festival from December 3-5 in the Jack and Darlene Poole Theatre located on Granville Island. The festival showcases the talent of the students in our Year Long Theatre Programs and will include both original work created by the students inspired by the Climate Change Theatre Action initiative as well as the following outstanding plays by this years fabulous playwrights:

We have engaged teens in Arts Umbrella’s Arts and Design department to create original artwork inspired by the plays that will have their own gallery showing during the festival as well as be projected as backdrops to our performances. In an effort to go green, all program content will be online and include links with more information about going green.
