Chris is a writer and performer from Manchester, UK. He works mainly as a playwright, and occasionally for radio and TV. Currently he is collaborating with China Plate, Rachel Chavkin, Javaad Alipoor, Yusra Warsama, Claire O’Reilly, Hannah Jane Walker, the Royal Court Theatre, Staatstheater Mainz, and Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Royal Exchange. His new piece, Always Maybe The Last Time, written at the Royal Court/Methuen Climate Commission, opens in 2025, with Vicky Featherstone directing. His current piece, Talking About The Fire, is the result of several years’ research in the nuclear disarmament sphere, working with diplomats and NGOs instrumental in developing the Treaty on the Prohobition of Nuclear Weapons.
